^ My parents went to see Circus Of Horrors on release at the cinema.
The scene where Donald Pleasence is crushed by the bear made my mum feel ill as she was sure she could hear his bones breaking. My dad thought he might have to take her out of the screen for a while but she was okay after that.
She always used to mention about that.

Extras for Masque of the Red Death

Studio Canal's Region B UK Blu-ray of THE MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH, due for release on October:
A stunning new restoration from Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation of Roger Corman’s 1964 classic THE MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH. Vincent Price stars as evil Prince Prospero who sells his soul to the devil and then enjoys the latter’s patronage by living the most decadent and lavish lifestyle he can manage. He derides even more pleasure from the perverse satisfaction he takes in seeing his impoverished subjects fall victim to a painful and devastating plague that is sweeping the land. Based on the short stories of Edgar Allen Poe, the film also stars Hazel Court and Jane Asher.
Extras:
NEW: Colour and Censorship in The Masque of The Red Death – Interview With Keith Johnston
NEW: Audio Commentary With Kim Newman and Sean Hogan
Audio Commentary with Roger Corman
Roger Corman: In Conversation with Kim Newman at The BFI
Roger Corman: Behind The Masque
Original US Theatrical Trailer
Behind The Scenes Stills Gallery

Their recent Blus have been fantastic with the exception of artwork.... the team from Warners must be moonlighting.....

The Corman interview with Kim Newman should be good.

The cover for Flash Gordon was really good and I even thought the Bill & Ted one was ok too, they're not all bad! The Fifth Element is pretty bad though and Masque is terrible!

The extras advertised look good but also a bit light for a film with such a high reputation. Pleased its coming but also a little disappointed it wasn't farmed out to Indicator.
