Thanks, Dave. It's one i do need to pick up really. It's the sort of movie that goes beyond the realms of cinematic quality into a universe of sc-ifi sub Doctor Who kitsch that i seem to enjoy.

I still have Rocketship X-1 and Journey to the Far Side of the Sun in my to watch pile too. Are they any good?

I think you must mean Rocketship X-M?

Both those are decent movies.

They are masterpieces compared to They Came from Beyond Space

I've watched everything on the Masque Of The Red Death disc.
I listened to the audio commentary this afternoon while doing other stuff. It's okay, really just a banter commentary though rather than an in-depth making of piece.

There was a piece in The Guardian yesterday containing interviews with Roger, and Jane Asher to coincide with this new Masque of the Red Death release. It's worth reading for their recollections of the shoot, its parallels with contemporary issues, and reaction from the US Catholic Legion of Decency.
