Loving that a company like Studiocanal is fully embracing these exploitation classics

I didn't know. Mine was an import - Anchor Bay I think?

First saw it as The Tempter back in the VHS days.

I've never seen U-571 because, when it was released, I thought the premise was ridiculous and borderline offensive, and I've never seen the EIV Blu-ray release being sold cheaply or been aware of it being shown on TV.

I'm not interested enough in the film to buy this release, but would watch it if it was on TV one evening.

A classic Hollywood style movie poster isn't it.

The new artwork looks quite good from a distance but up close it's not so good.

I really like Cutthroat Island. Loved it at the cinema. It was the first and only pirate epic i saw, and it's one that i've upgraded from vhs to dvd and soon to Blu.

I know it doesn't have a great reputation probably because it was the movie that ruined Carolco, but i bet it still stands up nowadays.
