I really like Red Sun. I've kept meaning to get the 2015 release by SC but never have done.

Night of The Eagle (Cult Classics) [Blu-ray]

Quote:
Based on the novel Conjure Wife by Fritz Leiber, Night of the Eagle is a taut, atmospheric and terrifying film that remains a much-loved cult classic to this day. Professor Norman Taylor (Peter Wyngarde) seemingly has it all: a great job, the envy of his colleagues, a happy marriage, and a healthy scepticism when it comes to the supernatural. However, things begin to unravel when Taylor discovers that his wife Tansy (Janet Blair) has been practicing witchcraft apparently in an effort to progress his career and to protect him from jealous colleagues. Despite Tansy?s warnings, Taylor insists on destroying all of her magic paraphernalia and tries to carry on as normal, refusing to believe that his wife?s witchcraft could have been behind his success. That is, until the very next day when things in his life start going very wrong?EXTRAS: Burn Witch, Burn: Anna Bogutskaya on Night of the Eagle, Archive Interview with Peter Wyngarde, US Theatrical Trailer, UK Theatrical Trailer, US Alternate Opening Credits, Audio Commentary with screenwriter Richard Matheson, Behind the Scenes stills gallery

Apparently it's not as stacked as the Imprint edition but it will be a lot cheaper

'Soldier Blue' (1970) - Coming on 4K Steelbox

Release date: July 15

"Controversial upon its release, Ralph Nelson's Soldier Blue follows Honus (Peter Strauss) and Cresta (Candice Bergen), the only remaining survivors of a Cheyenne Native American attack, as they travel across the unforgiving wilderness of the American frontier in search of refuge. Their journey reaches a tragic climax as they witness the brutal and cold-blooded slaughter of the Cheyenne tribe at the hands of the U.S. army.

Reflecting the political climate of the time, Soldier Blue is uncompromising in its anti-war stance and in its extremely graphic depiction of the 1864 Sand Creek Massacre. By shedding light on America's dark history and the inhumane actions of the U.S. army, this revisionist western is one of the most radical films in American cinema's history."

Special features:
  • NEW Interview with actress Candice Bergen
  • Audio commentary by film critic Steve Mitchell and Howard S. Berger
  • NEW Trailer
NOTE: The UK version will be cut (horsefalls and a potential "indecent" images with a child. There is a German release dropping the same week that will likely be uncut.

Anyone opting for the German release needs questions asking.

Interestingly this release is slightly over five minutes longer than previous UK releases including the Optimum dvd i own. There was no cut for potentially indecent images in that 2008 release so i'm guessing this longer version is much stronger than the print i've seen.
