I love having the reverse covers without the banner and BBFC ratings on them (and I always use them), but the colour bars do look good, especially when the artwork is white.

Yeah the Sinbad cases only have the 'ZX Spectrum' strip on one side on the back of the sleeve.

I wouldn't think so. Some people like them so I don't see them removing them. Better catering to those who like them and those who don't, than having half their customers complaining.

The Sinbad cases are an exception because they're Indicator's only box set thus far, and the belly band does feature the colour strip.
