Is the Vipco DVD for Nightkill still available to buy? Also, is the film uncut and what is the print quality like? Are there any DVD extras like a trailer?

I found out about this film ages ago but decided not to get it on DVD. Can't remember if it was possibly deleted back then. However recently, with Mannix coming out on Region 1 I was interested in any Mike Connors films. One of these is Nightkill from 1980.

I'd love to see the BFI restored print of The Vault of Horror released to DVD.Also I'd like to see The Warning get a DVD release, I think Vipco only issued that on VHS.

Yes it's completely uncut and also (non-anamorphic) widescreen. The only extras are the usual Vipco trailers plus some filmographies.

Excellent film by the way. Deserves far better treatment than this.

Yes it's an excellent film. Completely out of place in the Vipco catalogue.

Mannix was a great series and Mike Connors really should have gone on to greater things. He mainly did TV work though I remember him in the lousy Stagecoach remake (with Ann Margret and err... Bing Crosby), Kiss The Girls And Make Them Die (great 60's spy swinger), and the cheesy Lee Marvin Avalanche Express. I last saw him in the hugely underrated Gideon with Christopher Lambert.

Totally out of place.
From what I remember it's more of a thriller....

Vipco's advertising machine strikes again.....'VIPCO'S VAULTS OF HORROR'

Yep, it's more of a murder mystery (though absurdly packaged as a horror thriller). Great cast too, and Robert Mitchum is as bourbonly enjoyable as ever.
