As far as I'm aware it is uncut. It's a cheap way to see the movie if you haven't already.

Melting Man is brilliant. There's a great scene where a fat nurse runs through a plate glass window. Rick Bakers work is great as well, but is secondary to the nurse. |

I'm old enough to remember people like Baker, Bottin and Savini being a reason i'd watch a film, shame CGI seems to have pushed that skill and art to the background. It was years before Stan Winston got the credit for those huge dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park series ( peeps were too busy lavishing praise on the CGI to realize how much of his stuff is onset robotic effects)his work on Lost World is amazing.

I've always been a big fan of Screaming Mad George. He doesn't seem to get mentioned as much. His work on Society was a milestone for me. He did some great stuff on Children of the Corn III. |

Has anyone any info on the House of.. films. I have House of Clocks and Ghosthouse, both are very good prints and decent films, what are the other ones like please?

GHOSTHOUSE is not a part of that series. It was followed by WITCHERY (aka WITCHCRAFT) and BEYOND DARKNESS (and no, I'm not getting confused with BUIO OMEGA) All pretty rubbish IMO (except BD - I haven't seen it), though the two Fulci films have their moments. |
