FUNDING
VIPCO - LIMITED EDITION MOVIE RELEASES
VIPCO RELEASING LIMITED EDITION MOVIE RELEASES
Short Summary

Welcome to this very special VIPCO Indiegogo campaign.

We have 3 films in this campaign that we will be releasing in 2021 as standard movie releases BUT to stick with the whole VIPCO VHS nostalgia we want to give certain releases a LIMITED EDITION DVD and BLU-RAY release that would ONLY be EXCLUSIVE to this campaign.

The 3 films we will be releasing as LIMITED EDITION releases to this campaign are:
All 3 films have either played at the fantastic Horror-On-Sea film festival in the UK or will be in the year 2021.

It is worth noting that we will ONLY be releasing these movies on DVD as standard releases should this campaign not be successful. So if you WANT a LIMITED EDITION release donate to this campaign to make it happen.

What We Need & What You Get

So what do we need...

We are setting a goal of £5000 for these 3 LIMITED EDITION releases.

This will cover the BBFC costs and the production costs of getting the special packages done for these releases which WILL include:

Each movie will come with a LIMITED EDITION SLIPCOVER - Limited to 500

EXCLUSIVE extras only available to this LIMITED EDITION UK release (the standard release will have fewer extras).

EXCLUSIVE VHS style DVD/Blu-ray sleeves.

Plus an extra SPECIAL BONUS...BUT we will have to reach our £5000 goal first...

There is a few STRETCH GOALS too but we will have to crack that £5000 goal first!

The Impact

We believe 3 these films will becomes firm fan favourites in the years to come so we want to give them the SPECIAL service they are owed.

If we reach the £5000 they will all get the treatment we mentioned above plus something else...but this can only happen if we reach our goal.

These 3 films will have standard releases in the future BUT only on DVD so if you want the BLU-RAY this WILL be the only place for the UK release.

Risks & Challenges

As a UK distributor one of the challenges we face is certification through the BBFC but we believe these films will go through UNCUT.

The world is a tough place right now so ANY money you can put towards the campaign will mean alot to us at VIPCO but ALSO to the filmmakers that were involved in the 3 films in this campaign as they will get to see their films get the treatment they deserve.

Most modern horror films (actually most modern films) don't get a bluray release so this might be a niche worth exploring. The question will be, are there enough physical media collectors in the modern horror crowd to make this strategy a success? 500 units, though, is a very modest figure.

Harvest of the Dead: Halloween Night looks abysmal from the trailer.

And that's coming from someone who has bought at least twenty modern direct to dvd horror films from supermarket shelves this year.

Day of the stranger looks the best and even that looks like something you’d turn off after 15 min or less.
