Well, this is even worse than I thought.
It's basically new ultra low budget indie trash of the worst kind.

The kind of stuff you find at the bottom of the barrel, on Amazon Prime.

If they're bringing back Vipco, at least try to release some of the old trashy cult movies instead, or don't bother at all.

Amazon prime most rubbish but few hidden gems if dig deep, quite a fair few shameless films on there, and some Argento etc .

Plus they’ve just come back and re-invented themselves so give them some time and see what’s happens, and they where known for releasing garbage anyway.

I know, but at least it was wonderful garbage, like Night of the Demon and The Boogey Man

But we'll see if they release something more interesting, later this year.

To me this is bottom of the barrel direct to dvd stuff that the likes of High Fliers and Matchbox Films turned down.

You cannot compare them in any way to The Beyond, Zombie Flesh Eaters, Cannibal Holocaust, Asylum and Shogun Assassin - all professionally made films released in cinemas worldwide.

If these new releases aren't on sale at a fiver each and on supermarket shelves then they'll sink without trace.

To say these are all out in a month they aren't even listed on Amazon.

I agree with this, ideally the new Vipco 1st releases should really include something that's relatively known.

If you look at the list of films, the old Vipco released, there are some impressive titles (It's just they were cut and poor picture quality) and labels like Shameless, 88 Films and Arrow have re-released some of them themselves.

If the new Vipco wants to be somewhat successful, then they need to release some good titles not the complete dross. I do wonder if Umberto Lenzi's Eaten Alive is in the works, Shameless or 88 Films haven't done that one yet?
