I have the Code Red dvd of Messiah of Evil and plan to upgrade it to that lovely edition.

It's as much an atmosphere film as it is straight forward horror.

Messiah of Evil is a fave of mine too, the cinema and supermarket scenes are stand out moments for me.

Is there a reason that the Radiance thread doesn't appear in the 'Other labels' section like all the other 'other labels'?

Because the person who started it just stuck it anywhere.

I'll deal with it now.

Looks like Radiance have got themselves an MGM deal. Definitely in for this one

Scream and Scream Again

A serial killer runs amok over London, draining his victims of their blood. A mad doctor performs experimental surgery on his victims, taking them apart limb by limb. A shady organisation from Eastern Europe is involved in some way while intelligence officer Fremont investigates. Bringing together the biggest horror stars of the era in Vincent Price ( Witchfinder General ), Christopher Lee ( Dracula: Prince of Darkness ) and Peter Cushing ( Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors ) Amicus Productions pulled out all the stops to compete with rival studio Hammer. Directed by genre specialist Gordon Hessler ( The Oblong Box ) Scream and Scream Again is a diabolical sci-fi horror hybrid that counted Fritz Lang as an admirer. Dabbling with conspiracies, mad doctors and killers in the dying days of swinging London, this British horror classic makes its UK Blu-ray debut, and is presented in its British and American versions.

Arse! I have the Twilight Time release on Blu which i still haven't watched.

That's what happens when you are over familiar with a film and it's not an absolute favourite. I keep putting off watches.

The Radiance film s release has a different and to my mind better commentary than the Twilight Time.

I don't own this one at all so it's a no brainer for me. It's very reminiscent of an Indicator special edition!

I really like this one. I've read the book too, which was originally called The Disorientated Man by Peter Saxon, which I believe was a publishing 'house' name, and therefore a pseudonym; so that Ramsey Campbell extra, looking at 'Peter Saxon', should be cool for anyone interested in 60/70s pulp horror fiction.
