I don't think the James Bryan film festival is out yet.

God's Bloody Acre is a double with Tomcats:
God's Bloody Acre (1975) - IMDb
Deadbeat (1977) - IMDb

Thanks for replying, bdc -according to Amazon US and Diabolik DVD, the James Bryan is in stock - 7 at the former and 16 at the latter. No sign of it at Axel.

I'm tempted by God's Bloody Acre, but the reviews seem average at best.

It all depends on personal taste, planning on giving it a spin soon and reporting back.
Will have to check about the James Bryan set.
If it's out I'll mail Axel and ask them to add it.

What are the top 5 Code Red titles to get film-wise that are still in print?; I've already got Rituals and The Dead are alive and I was thinking of getting some more.

Edit - Reason why I was asking about Bryan was that I'm reading Stephen Thrower's Nightmare USA and he did a terrific chapter on Bryan's Don't go in the woods and his other films.

Just mailed Axel about it.
I would like to get it as well...

What did you think of those two?
Top 5 is really hard because everybody has a different taste but I'll try to make a list....
I know Messiah Of Evil is a very popular Code Red release.

Pets (actually this is oop)
Don't Go in the Woods
Rituals
Nightmare

Honorary mention:
The Weekend Murders (oop but still available at some shops)

According to Bill Olsen, the second run (first run is 2,500) of NIGHTMARE covers will be different but he didn't say what the difference would be.

EDIT: Oops! Bruno posted this info in the NIGHTMARE thread already, heh heh...

I've not watched The Dead Are Alive yet, but I liked Rituals quite a bit - it's certainly more psychological than I expected it to be and gives you more to think about compared to other survivor thrillers.

James Bryan is now in stock at Axel

Yep,just ordered one.
I didn't even know it was out already so thanks for the heads up!

I guess it all depends on what kind of movies you like...I like a lot of movie genres and so far I've only been really disappointed by CR's The Chilling (oop).
Maybe I should give it another watch though...
