I'm not sure the same could be said about MMM (so bad it's bad, perhaps?!). Ultra cheesy with some terrible dialogue. On top of that, it also has plenty of prostitutes, gore, and a very odd score...

I very much look forward to your opinion of this one, Bruno!
Well...I like Blood Feast...Ishtar!

Sounds good to me...will post my findings.

Btw just a quick heads up,seems CR's Long Ride From Hell (best dvd version of the Steve Reeves western) is really oop now.
There's 1 left on Amazon and it's out of stock at several webshops.
Prices are still decent on eBay and marketplace though (just wondering if these sellers have stock).

Currently watching The Curious Case of the Campus Corpse (aka The Hazing),saw the trailer recently and wanted to give it a spin.
Much better than I expected so far.

I do too.

MMM replaces the Egyptian mythos with Aztec, though

It does have it's charms, but it is quite cringe-worthy. I hope you enjoy it!

Bill has confirmed that this will not be re-released on a double bill.

Disappointing, but thanks for letting us know. I find his reasoning pretty stupid, but then again I find most of what he spouts to be nonsense. Everyone else suffers because of a few raging nerds on the internet? Completely silly. It wouldn't surprise me, if it was either related to cost, effort, or he just plain didn't want to and he's passing the blame elsewhere, to get one over on the people who give him stick on his blog.

I'm still tempted to pick up Mardi Gras Massacre though. The write up in Teenage Wasteland has me very interested. Sounds very much like trashy fun, and it's one of the few slashers from that period that I have yet to see.

Finished this and it's a fun one,not a horror film though.
A hard picture to classify...parts sports drama, thriller and comedy.

Also some extras of the original Code Red/Shriekshow release are included on the new double bill (if you pick the "watch without Maria" option there's a different menu).

Haven't watched Mardi Gras Massacre yet, hopefully today.

No new Moontown review yet so...
Tom and Kendra review a largely forgotten/unnoticed CR release:The Black Klansman (1966,Ted V. Mikels).
