It wasn't selling and way too many trolls claim the eurovista dvd was better release and called my transfer a tape master and a beat up print. Major restoration took place and I was spit on by critics. don't need or sell enough to take the abuse, so I stop the press.

Unfortunately the web seems full of wankers (pardon my french) I own the dead are alive and I think its a bloody good release.

I suspect these 'critics' are looking for jobs as film journalists and think the easiest root to that is taking a sledgehammer to other peoples hard work.

For whatever it counts, i'm continuing to buy all the code red releases I can.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for taking the time to answer some questions. I think one of the other mods here will be bowing down before you to thank you for Night Of The Demon. He's been waiting years for a decent release.

Hearse is cancel. Director backout of audio commentary, so no extra = no sales.

Probably a good idea if there's no extras available since it's been released a couple of times before (Rhino,BCI,Mill Creek re-issue).

Sorry to hear that, from the trailer it seemed to look quite interesting. Thanks for letting us know, and welcome to the forum I look forward to see what you guys have planned for 2012, as I've enjoyed quite a bit from you guys this year.

The job they did on the restoration is one of the best representations on the possibilitys of cult films about.
Midnight Legacy (aka Midnight Video) ran for years as a grey market bootleg outfit and several official releases were scuppered because of them. This is why there's a fair bit of antagonism towards Bill and Dolph. It's no big deal to me, I don't have any issue with them, just explaining their history.

Is the bootleg market really that big? Never i would buy a dvd-r before the real stuff and do you know what releases that took damage because of them?
