Can anyone answer me this? Which is the best of the three version of Nightmare to watch for a first viewing, taking into account it being fully uncut and the best picture and sound quality? Last edited by Demdike@Cult Labs; 26th December 2011 at 11:07 PM. |

That's a difficult one depending on many factors, like do you want to watch the director's approved version or the one that shows more (booth scene) than was ever shown? I'd say the version on disc 2 if you want the best pic and sound quality (and showing more than ever (booth scene) + uncut)...but better ask some more people because I don't want to take the blame if this isn't the one you need to watch for the first time... ![]() Maybe ask here as well? http://www.cult-labs.com/forums/us-h...elease-49.html |

Seen Nighmare now. Code Red did a good job with the widescreen print, it looked very good to me, although there was a lot of debris around the 70 minute mark. I thought the film itself was just ok, take the OTT gore away and its fairly poor. For fans of the film, the Code Red disc is superb, don't miss out. |

Night of the Demon is apparently sold out...will there ever be a re-press? Amazon.com: Maria's B-Movie Mayhem-Night of the Demon: Maria Kanellis: Movies & TV ![]() Bill's advise: "better buy code red, many will be gone soon" |
