It'd end up being the same disc in a fancier box, some of those HMV Premium discs can be quite ropey old masters from the dawn of bluray. If I recall Taste... doesn't look all that great anyway it's quite close to the DVD version.

No problem, I've been buying them because I don't have any copy of them but have been far from blown away by the quality. The Studio Canal ones are generally really nice looking though. Actually I think Satanic Rites.. and AD72 were pretty nice looking, they were newer remasters.

I've got all the StudioCanal ones except Straight On Till Morning which i'm not over fond of and bought the Satanic Rites and AD 1972 last summer in a Premium collection 2 for £15 offer.

It was specifically Taste and also Risen from the Grave which don't have quality releases (as far as i know)

They're only £8 and possibly cheaper on Music Magpie so it's worth a punt for the collection, I actually got Risen and Taste in a french box set (WB) and it was pretty cheap, French titles on the covers though. I sold it since.

Is Risen actually available on BD?

If Taste isn't much better than the dvd then i'll wait for that one.

edit - Yes Risen is available, US, but with zero extras.

Yeah I thought it was out in the UK too but it's not, there is the American one (too expensive) and the Euro ones which will have localised titles on the front cover. In light of that I wouldn't be surprised if it makes it's UK debut in the Premium Collection at some point.

Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed also has a WB US release, but not in UK as yet.

That's another fave that i'd ideally like as some sort of special edition even if it's only in the Premium Collection.

I think the blu ray of Taste The Blood Of Dracula looks good. For me a big improvement over the DVD releases. I'm well pleased with it.
