Fifty quid for one film is a complete piss take.

well, yes but... it's not just the film. I take at least ?15 out for the comics compilation, which I'd buy immediately if I saw it for sale in a bookshop.

The thing is it's not the size of a normal comic book or graphic novel it's the size of a Blu-ray, so yes you may be happy to pay $15 if you saw it in a bookshop but it'd be a lot larger than the size of a box of kitchen matches.

That is true lol

anyway, I'm making an effort not to feel buyer's remorse, so I'm calling it an incentive for the new Hammer to put out other more interesting (and cheaper) stuff

Had they put it out as a Blu-ray minus the crap at ?20 alongside the rip off edition then i'd have snapped it up.

Probably will do in the future.

50 might be to much just for one film but the release as 5 discs and to me its worth it just for the amount of special features thats on them I cant always pay that amount of money for just one film but this one is worth every penny.

The thing is if this one sells then they'll put others out at the same ridiculous price so it won't be one film, it will be every film they release.

?50 for one film is absolutely criminal. I can't think of any film I would pay that money for.

I'm not sure anyone needs to be peed off by the release.

It seems to me that it's aimed at the out and out Hammer obsessive's. I love Hammer but I also have too many interests in other directions to want to pay that amount of money for what is a relatively minor film in the Company's ouevre.

However, there will surely be cheaper release down the line that will be of interest to me.
