Just noticed this at SAE's website:

"February 20th - New Blu-ray exclusives: Scorpion Releasing CANDLE FOR THE DEVIL and STRIPPED TO KILL and all future Scorpion limited edition Blu-rays will be sold exclusively through Screen Archives. MSRP for CANDLE FOR THE DEVIL and STRIPPED TO KILL Blu-ray is $24.95. Pre-orders will go live March 2nd at 3pm EST, and the Blu-rays will start shipping approximately March 17th."

Oh yes.

Just a heads up for those in the UK who may be thinking about picking up Scorpion's Blu of A Candle for the Devil... it seems Odeon have a Blu upgrade in the works too, so it may be worth waiting and saving yourself some £££s.

House on Sorority Row is back in stock on DiabolikDVD for $34.99 a piece.

From Diabolik on Facebook:

We just received in a big box of Scorpion Releasing's OOP House on Sorority Row. The pricing is based on what they are selling them for on their bigcartel page and they will not be reduced in the future. No complaints please, it beats the pricing on ebay.

Edit: aaaand 14 minutes later, they've sold out of the 45 copies they had, at the time of posting the original message...

Hmm I'll pick up Scorpion's to start with......The only thing that let's Odeon down as a top company imho is their artwork sometimes.
Take that great run of recent artwork for their blu ray releases, and then,The Black Torment!

But hey, everyone isn't an artwork fruitcake like me!

Wow, that's a bargain.

I had to go with this premium price, but I was already in the mindset, that I'm not ever gonna get this one, because of the crazy prices. I'm just glad I could order it for a more reasonable price! At least it seems to be filled with special features. It's almost the same Twilight Time charges for their releases and I have a ton of those.
