Of course, his Twitter and his Facebook would only give his side. It's a mess, but nobody knows the truth, one is far more vocal than the other though.

I'll happily upgrade to a 4K mastered Phenomena blu-ray. Personally I actually see a lot of room for improvement. I'll buy the other 2 forthcoming 4K titles as well (I think it will be Bird and Inferno). Argento is my favourite director and I enjoy the hobby of upgrading when something better comes along. I own 18 of 19 films and 2 of 4 television projects on blu-ray, also his Verdi Macbeth opera. Perhaps it's surprising, just how well represented (in high definition) Argento has been? He must be more popular than I thought.

a snippet from Tim Lucas's Facebook page (8 Feb):

"...what with the Bava commentaries I've been doing (or redoing)..."

One of those had better be Hercules In The Haunted World.

'Re-doing' suggests that it going to be something Arrow has already released, and the commentary is being up-dated

I'm changing your nickname from Cut And Paste Kate to Pedantic Polly.

Presumably A Bay Of Blood. That's the only one that doesn't meet their current technical standards. I'm sure people will moan, but I'm more than happy if that's the case. I just wish they were still able to do so with the likes of Dawn too. Hopefully they replace that woeful artwork.

its not Kill, Baby, Kill as its being released by Koch Media this year and TL says he's doing a new one for that - hopefully Arrow will replicate that release. other possibilities for 're-doing' outside of those already released by Arrow are Planet of the Vampires (most likely), Knives of the Avenger (possible), Erik the Conqueror (possible), Danger: Diabolik (most unlikely as with Paramount), The Whip and the Body (no - that's with Odeon), Hatchet for the Honeymoon (no - thats with another outfit, i forget who?).

no, i'm just hoping there will be a UK release. i guess if Koch Media have secured rights for the whole of region B then Arrow have missed the boat.
