The problem with that one is twofold: 1) The UK rights were sold to Iver for 'eternity' by the producer Jim Ball. And Iver long since ceased to exist so someone, somewhere from that company - likely someone's son or daughter - perhaps unwittingly legally owns Night of the Demon in the UK. And if that did get sorted out - 2) There is no HD master. At all. In existence. Ever.

I highly recommend Night of the demon. Possibly the scuzziest Bigfoot movie going. For me it even tops shriek of the mutilated. The terrible quality is part of the charm.

Agreed I think Shriek of the mutilated is a trash masterpiece. I just find night of the demon better paced and more entertaining

Night of the Demon is one of my favourite 'nasties', and I live in hope of seeing a blu release. In the interim, my Code Red DVD will have to suffice...

I've only got Night of The Demon, on VHS, so a Blu-ray would be most welcome. Can't even watch it now, because my old player eats up the tapes
