Does anyone have any thoughts on the Grefe set? I have an itchy amazon finger but I bought the HGL set years ago and 50% of it remains unwatched and it looks similar.

I'm a bit similar. I'm halfway through the Lewis set. It's right down my street but I don't think its for everyone. You need a good tolerance for high quality trash. As I understand it Grefe is considered a better filmmaker. His set is on my 'to watch' pile but I think it will be awhile before I get round to it.

Just grabbed a sealed Day of The Dead steelbook from Ebay for a decent prize. Call me crazy since I already have the original slip version but I love the film and the artwork on the steel, plus thought it would look nice next to the SS Dawn set.

Got me thinking, does anyone know what happened to the Golden Ticket that was supposed to be in one of the 5 year celebration Steelbooks they did.

From memory was it supposed to be in one of the Maniac Cop ones?

Does it annoy anyone else that it is either sitting inside a sealed steelbook listed on Ebay that will take another decade to sell or on someone's shelf and never destined to be opened?

What do people think would happen if it did turn up one day or even tomorrow. What would do you think would be a decent offer from Arrow in exchange?

Wasn't it copies of that year's entire line up of releases? I guess they wouldn't be able to do that now though. Shame, compared to their old releases, the last year or two haven't been quite the same.

Just went and checked and at the time it was; the entire Arrow Video back-catalogue and all upcoming 2014 titles*

I don't think Arrow would be able to honour all their back catalogue and upcoming 2021 titles if someone won it today, but damn would that be a prize!
