Last new release I got was TCM 2, before that it was Knightriders, there's a couple of recent releases I'm after, but the majority I'm not interested in at all.
Hopefully we'll see some more Price/Corman/Poe films and more Bava next year once they've got De Palma out of their system that is

You could always guarantee a few titles brand new to the shiny disc format. That scenario is long gone.

That's an interesting point but I guess, since they have moved into the Blu-ray market, the materials available for small and less well-known 'cult' films aren't as readily available as those for more well-known movies, which are also going to sell much better and appeal to a wide audience.

That said, films like Deranged, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Lifeforce and Squirm aren't exactly titles that Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Brothers, MGM etc would be clamouring to release. Withnail and I, The 'Burbs and Invasion of the Body Snatchers show how diverse Arrow have become.

They are all MGM films though. The beauty of Arrow was that their diversity was in the many original cult films they released.

Where are all the Superbitch, Island of Death, Midnight type of releases?

Any of the films you listed above could also have quite easily been released by the major companies you also listed.

I just think its a shame that's all.

Sadly none of those 3 particularly interest me and were 3 of the truly lesser announcements in my eyes.

Midnight was a absolute crock of shit too, would rather not see any more of that coming onto the label.

In my eyes the diversity now is in seeing serious movies like Blow Out come out on the regular label, and seeing more Asian releases like Lady Snowblood and Curse of the Blind Woman
