Big-time Bava fan here, so really happy to see 5 dolls being released next year. Got the Black Cats set arriving on Monday, so have some new films to catch up on next week! The 3 film American horror project appeals, but is too expensive for me at the moment
Welcome, I lurked here for a while too but finally succumbed and joined, and like me you'll spend far too long on here. Also needless to say your bank balance will dwindle as we alert you to ever increasing great releases ( sometimes this hobby seems as addictive anything out there) I'll throw my love for Blood & Black Lace into the Bava hat.

I guarantee you, this will be true.

Here is my ranking of all the films I have seen of his so far, if you want to take a look.

Nice. I haven't seen them all myself. Those i have, i'd rank thusly.

1. Mask of Satan
2. Lisa and the Devil
3. Bay of Blood
4. The Girl Who Knew Too Much
5. Kill Baby Kill
6. Black Sabbath
7. Danger Diabolik
8. Blood and Black Lace
9. Hatchet for the Honeymoon
10. Baron Blood

Looking forward to 5 dolls and hoping that Shock gets a release from arrow at some point. I'll have to get Planet of the Vampires, Hercules in the Haunted World, and The Whip and the Body at some future point too!

Of course honestly! And as i expected. Curious though, what happens if theres a film you want but there just isn't an original artwork option out there?

Well that would be a different story. I wouldn't that bad as to refuse to get it.

You not seen Knives of the Avenger and Roy Colt and Winchester Jack Bub?

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong but i think they are only available in the two Anchor Bay box sets which are now deleted. It wouldn't surprise me if they never got a HD release unfortunately.

So somewhere along the line you must own some shitty artwork then? Just curious mate.
With so many stunning original posters out there i can never understand some of the crap that ends up on sleeves. Steelbooks in particular seem made for original art.

Oh I do! So many I have that every time I pick them up I say to myself "arrghhh, why couldn't they use the poster!"

Welcome Deadite! Cultlabs is a friendly forum where you can speak your mind and happily debate or moan or procrastinate to your hearts content. Good choice of Bava titles, there has been debate about wether Arrow will release Planet of the Vampires. When Arrow first started with the Bava titles there was a little more synch with what Kino were releasing in the US. That seems to have stopped now. Hopefully Arrow will put Planet out with both the Italian and American versions at some point.
