It'll have to be something special for me to double dip as I'm more than happy with the SF edition (crappy artwork aside)

2K transfer would make you double dip?

Surely with a release like this there will be a limited edition of some sort. If not I'd pick it up in a sale I'm happy with my scream factory release

Cue people bleating about the grain in The Burning it was even that way when I saw it in the cinema, I have the R1 dvd, I'll give it a look next week. (Arrow's recent track record is pretty good so let's hope all that film grain remains intact) no waxy Cropsy please...

The current blu rays use the MGM HD master which wasn't new at the time but certainly isn't bad. Like you said, it's a bit of a soft grainy movie but is certainly still HD and looks good. If Arrow did a 2K of this, I imagine it might have a bit of coarse grain but would look extremely nice.

Speaking of, the quality of The Mutilator is absolutely stunning, I was amazed it could look that good. Upscaled to 1440p on a computer monitor might have also helped that though

And some decent digipack style packaging featuring newly commissioned artwork? 😉

What's happening with 'Shivers'?

I tried to get it from the Arrow site, but it's listed as Product not found!

Was it a limited edition release??
