Personally I'm way more excited about 52 Pick-Up (although Arrow might wanna rethink that new artwork).
I'm the same as I much prefer the Amaray cases to steelbooks – they are more user-friendly and less prone to damage.

Dekalog and Other TV Works Dual-Format Blu-ray & DVD

Dekalog, here was me hoping that Criterion would release their forthcoming version in UK and now Arrow have announced it at what I reckon will be a much more wallet friendly price.

The excellent 52 Pick-Up for me, but I'll wait until The Burning is re-issued in an amaray case, as I already have the Scream Factory release, an I don't do streelbooks anymore. maybe a few years ago when they were still considered a collectors item, before they started releasing everything in them.

I wonder if Arrow will be releasing Krzysztof Kieślowski’s other works?

A Short Film About Love is superb.

Apparently Artificial Eye still hold the license in the UK for Love and Killing which is a shame.

The original tv version of Love is on Dekalog. I've never seen it but £50 is a bit much to pay, personally.

I was referring to the feature length versions only, sorry.
Yeah £50 is a lot, but I think it'd be worth it, I'm going to order one after payday!

See Stephen I'm with you on waiting for the amaray on this one as the steelbook art is rubbish, but in doing so I'll most likely miss out on the booklet. Think I'll preorder the steelbook then keep the booklet and take the thing to cex the minute the amaray hits the shelves.

Neither have I, but I have mine kept in protective plastic sleeves so they don't rub together and scratch when being moved, something which is unnecessary with Amaray boxes.

The other thing which bugs me is the 'J card' sleeves which are not stuck very well and either need to be removed completely, carefully peeled off and replaced every time you watch the film, or just take the disc out and store it somewhere else, such as a CD wallet or empty Amaray/ThinPak.

Fair enough Nos. My biggest issue with steelbooks is as Stephen said, everything gets one these days so whats the point, also they are absolutely perfect for original artwork so why do so many of them features newly commissioned ugly shite artwork.
