'Emanuelle: Black Velvet' (1976) (AKA 'Black Emmanuelle, White Emmanuelle') - Coming to Blu-ray from Full Moon Features Release date: June 7 "The stunning Laura Gemser (EMANUELLE IN AMERICA, EMANUELLE AND THE WHITE SLAVE TRADE) returns to the character that has defined her career in this lush erotic drama. EMANUELLE: BLACK VELVET (aka BLACK EMMANUELLE, WHITE EMMANUELLE and VELUTTO NERO) sees Gemser playing an incarnation of the famous globe-trotting model/reporter (here inexplicably referred to as just "Laura") as she travels to the sweltering deserts of Egypt with her macho fashion photographer boyfriend Carlo (Gabrielle Tinti, LISA AND THE DEVIL). Initially planning to simply visit her wealthy friend Crystal (Nieves Navarro, DEATH WALKS AT MIDNIGHT), the depressed damsel soon finds herself falling into a series of increasingly sensual encounters, while fixing her lustful attentions on Crystal's comely daughter Pia (Annie Belle, LIPS OF BLOOD and HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK). Sexually charged, beautifully photographed (by Gastone di Giovanni, THE NIGHT EVELYN CAME OUT OF THE GRAVE), edited by the notorious Bruno Mattei (HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD) and almost entirely free of conventional narrative trappings, EMANUELLE: BLACK VELVET is the directorial work of frequent Federico Fellini co-writer Brunello Rondi (8 1/2, LA DOLCE VITA) and also stars Italian exploitation legend Al Cliver (Lucio Fulci's ZOMBIE). Full Moon is proud to be presenting this rarely seen masterclass in '70s European softcore cinema remastered from the originally camera negative."

Jess Franco/Andrea Bianchi’s 'Angel of Death' (1987) (AKA Commando Mengele') - Coming to Blu-ray from Full Moon Features in an uncut master culled from the original 35mm camera negative. Pre-order available from MDV Entertainment Group - $21.95 Release date: August 10 "From the fevered mind of the notorious Jess Franco (BARBED WIRE DOLLS) comes 1987's ANGEL OF DEATH (aka COMMANDO MENGELE), a deranged free-fall into "Nazisploitaion" that takes its cues from the blockbuster 1978 shocker THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL and delivers the sort of delirium that fans of French genre film studio Eurocine hunger for! When an attractive pair of young Nazi hunters exploring Uruguay accidentally stumble upon the lair of the maniacal war criminal Dr. Josef Mengele, they immediately live to regret it. There, deep in the sweltering jungles, Mengele has continued his hideous human experiments, torturing, murdering and mutilating nubile virgins in the name of creating some sort of master race. Soon, mercenaries, monstrosities, femme fatales and vengeful concentration camp survivors face off, with bullets and bodies flying everywhere and Mengele holding cretinous court. Written by (under the name D. Khunn) and co-directed by Franco and completed by Italian trash movie maverick Andrea Bianchi (BURIAL GROUND: NIGHTS OF TERROR), the pair signed off on the film as "Frank Drew White", apparently too nervous to take credit for making this truly daft piece of unsavory exploitation. ANGEL OF DEATH is a fast-paced slice of vintage Eurocine mayhem, with an international cast that includes Franco regulars Jack Taylor, Antonio Mayans and Howard Vernon (as Mengele) along with Robert Mitchum's son Christopher and Shirley Knight from Franco's equally insane WHITE CANNIBAL QUEEN. Jump into the jungle with Jess and get ready for some prime cinematic insanity! Get ready for ANGEL OF DEATH, presented here in a beautiful, uncut master culled from the original 35mm camera negative."

Full Moon is pumped to be presenting a pair of rare and remastered European EMANUELLE movies starring the delectable Laura Gemser on Blu-ray and DVD, totally remastered and packed with perversion! Laura Gemser returns to the role that made her famous in EMANUELLE AND THE WHITE SLAVE TRADE, a scintillating work of depraved erotica from controversial Italian director Joe D'Amato! EMANUELLE AND THE WHITE SLAVE TRADE (aka LA VIA DELLA PROSTITUZIONE and EMANUELLE AND THE GIRLS OF MADAME CLAUDE) sees Gemser's comely and sexually curious journalist tracking down a notorious Mafia boss to the jungles of Kenya in hopes of interviewing him for her newspaper. Along the way, Emanuelle inadvertently stumbles upon an even more sensational story, that of a vile international white slavery ring, run by the sadistic Madame Claude. Once again, Emanuelle must go undercover, this time as a prostitute in Madame Claude's clandestine San Diego bordello, engaging in all manner of carnal couplings while secretly working to bring down the Madame's evil empire. EMANUELLE: BLACK VELVET (aka BLACK EMMANUELLE, WHITE EMMANUELLE and VELUTTO NERO) has Gemser playing an incarnation of the famous globe-trotting model/reporter as she travels to the sweltering deserts of Egypt with her macho fashion photographer boyfriend Carlo (Gabrielle Tinti, LISA AND THE DEVIL). Initially planning to simply visit her wealthy friend Crystal (Nieves Navarro, DEATH WALKS AT MIDNIGHT), the depressed damsel soon finds herself falling into a series of increasingly sensual encounters, while fixing her lustful attentions on Crystal's daughter Pia (Annie Belle, LIPS OF BLOOD and HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK). Each scorching hot title retails for $9.95 (DVD) and $16.95 (Blu-ray), but if you buy BOTH together you'll save 20%! Go to FullMoonDirect.com and grab yourself a double-dose of EMANUELLE awesomeness!

'Crazy Nights' (1978) - Coming to Blu-ray from Full Moon Features Release date: July9 "Italian exploitation icon Joe D'Amato's outrageous and rarely seen 1978 "mondo" movie meltdown CRAZY NIGHTS (aka Follie di notte) is one the strangest snapshots of the disco era you'll ever see. The legendary and controversial performer Amanda Lear appears here as herself, singing her signature dance floor hit "Follow Me" while D'Amato's camera uses her as an entry point into the glamorous, eccentric, often depraved annals of Rome's after hours nightclub scene. But that's only scratching the surface. CRAZY NIGHTS then meanders - in true "mondo" fashion - all over the world, filling the screen with strippers, sex and ritualistic absurdity, all set to the beat of Lear's sultry cabaret pop sound. Lear - who famously dated David Bowie, was the cover girl for many Roxy Music records and long served as Salvador Dali's lover and muse - was at the peak of her popularity when she signed on to film CRAZY NIGHTS. Originally pitched as a musical centered around her fame called FOLLOW ME, Lear believed the movie to be incomplete until - to her shock - it turned up in Italian theaters under the name Follie di notte. Horrified to discover that she had been tricked into starring in a full-blown exploitation film, Lear sued the producers, one of many reasons CRAZY NIGHTS has lapsed into virtual obscurity. Full Moon is pumped to be presenting this delirious and decidedly adult pseudo-documentary in its fully uncut edit, remastered from the original negative. Get ready for the wildest and weirdest "mondo" movie ever made!"
