I still haven't watched The Sweeney, The Saint, Return of the Saint, Cold Feet, Jonathan Creek or Randall and Hopkirk: Deceased and i've had them years. I can't ever see me ever watching some French silent serials.

I wish they would hurry up and be back in the HMV stores it been ages since I asked them about it and that was in way back in November last year.

Haha like you i have 100s of hours of TV shows to watch that have dialogue in it, but they don't have expressive female vampires in black leotards

Had it been twenty quid each for the serials then maybe i'd have considered Les Vampires and Fantomas but not at eighty pounds. It's just too much for something i really don't need.

Plus i could just watch Irma Vep again.

I've watched Fantomas and Les Vampires and they are better than all of those mentioned, bar, perhaps, a few choice episodes of The Sweeney. Just my opinion, of course...

This from the person who told me not to buy the dvd of Day of the Triffids because there was a stunning new Blu-ray on the horizon.

That was five years ago and still no Blu-ray.

As of May 10th over at CHFB the thread for that one has reached 19 pages and #380 posts

...i didn't start it btw...

Update: The guy who was carrying out the restoration has died in the last year...
