Paul Naschy's 80s horror classic PANIC BEATS! We were the first ones to issue this film on a legit disc back in the 2000s and we are beyond excited to have renewed our license and given the film a sparkling new 4K restoration for its worldwide HD premiere!

"Spanish horror legend Paul Naschy wrote directed and stars in this dark and macabre tale of lust, betrayal and ghostly vengeance. Naschy plays a descendent of the Alaric de Marnac character first seen in his 1973 film Horror Rises From the Tomb.

Desperate to salvage his crumbling financial empire, Paul Marnac (Naschy) decides to kill his heiress wife, Geneviève, played by Julia Saly. He enlists the help of a sexy and ambitious younger woman, Julie, played by former Miss Spain, Frances Ondiviela. Unfortunately, one murder is not enough to satisfy Julie’s blood lust and greed. As the corpses pile up, she heads for a confrontation with an ancient and unstoppable evil.

Remastered for the first time in HD, this fully restored Blu-ray is the complete uncut version of the film and contains all the notorious gore and violence."

I believe that most of them are, although their limited edition 2 film Jess Franco Blu-ray from a few years ago was Region A.

My MM order arrived 24 days after it was made. All 6 discs arrived intact (envelope/bubble wrap packaging). Pleased to report there was no customs charges.

I got my stuff from the sale last Friday, the parcel seemed to be stuck in L.A. for about a week but all's well in the end. As Rob4 said it was well wrapped and in perfect condition and the £60 worth of discs attracted no customs charge so - phew!

A lot of the forums talk about US webstores being 'customs friendly' which I take to mean the label doesn't draw attention to itself. And sure, my package was marked 'gift' with a value of $3. However, it was also clearly marked '6 dvds'. I'm not sure that's going to fool anyone? I think most packages get through simply because they are not checked. It would take an army of customs officers to check the volume of postage from the States.

Apparently Mondo Macabro are releasing Paul Naschy’s 'El Huerto Del Frances' (1978) (aka 'The French Garden')

"A Frenchman arrived in Penaflor,. Nobody knows its origin, soon he establishes himself as a moneylender turns his house into a brothel. Bullfighters and other types of people frequent the "French garden", but some of them never returned."

'Howl Of The Devil' (1988) - Coming next year to Blu-ray from Mondo Macabro

"One of Naschy's last great films and also one of his craziest. He plays an insane failed actor who dresses up as various famous villains from films and history while he kidnaps and abuses unsuspecting ladies. HOWL is one of Naschy's most autobiographical films as well as one of his most bitter and cynical.

This will be the film's first official release anywhere in the world. Expect a 4K restoration from the recently discovered negative"
