Saw Spearhead from Space again last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it all over again, proper classic oldschool Who. The remastered Blu ray's picture quality is so blindingly good it's almost distracting, though less so this time than the first time I saw it. Still a favourite.

DWM issue 561

This issue contains a free Target book (although the cover price of the mag is £9:99)!

It's *thought* that the book - 'The Library of Time' - is actually an anthology of extracts from the upcoming Target books - 'The Pirate Planet', 'The Television Movie', 'The Crimson Horror' and 'The Witchfinders' - rather than a proper full length story

One of the best Auton stories, great stuff. Amazing to think that the story was all shot on location, due to a BBC strike. The story runs along at a great pace, and feels really modern in it's execution. Direction is pretty decent too. Though the camera lighting in places is a little too bright, but overall is a gem of a story, and not a whiff of gender politics or bad scripting. I'll have to watch it again with Terror of the Autons.
