So far i've seen the first five episodes of Evil of the Daleks. I'm not as enthusiastic as Susan i'm afraid. Episodes 1-3 were very good but four and five were simply padding. All that happened to move the story along was the Doctor creating the human factor in a vial from Jamie's DNA. That's it in fifty minutes. I've listened to the story a few times on soundtrack cd and seeing it animated makes more sense but it's still not a great story. It's not a patch on Troughton's last animated release - Fury from the Deep |
