I'm prity sure there either completely new monsters or drasticaly redesigned classics.

They're official name is Spoonheads so you're not far off actually
Going by the glimpses we've seen of them, it looks like they might just steal the title of "most ridiculous looking monster" from the Quarks.

Giant US magazine Entertainment Weekly are doing a special collect 2 covers edition with Doctor Who.

It never featured on the cover of this entertainment bible until it won a poll last summer beating top US shows in a readers vote and therefore got its first cover in August.

So this is quite a coup for the series.

The third pic is the first cover from last year.

These new redesigned Cybermen are fast growing on me - they look very retro in style.

I must admit I'm really looking forward to the second half of this new series.

Re-reading this weeks Stickleback I noticed a cameo from five stuffed Doctor Who antagonists. A Zarbi, A Menoptera, A Wirrn, A Giant Maggot and it's Giant Fly form.
