Seeing as tv stories are the only ones genuinely recognised by the producers (Although some sly winks and nods are given to other sources occasionally) why tenth. I only recall Delgado, Pratt / Beevers, Ainley, Roberts, Jacobi, Simm, Gomez and Dhawan as playing different incarnations of the character on tv. That's eight. Gordon Tipple who played the character in long shot and very obscured in about a second of the tv movie i thought was supposed to be the Ainley Master. |

Therefore, as you stated, ten different people have played the role: 1: Roger Delgado 2: Peter Pratt 3: Geoffrey Beevers 4: Anthony Ainley 5: Gordon Tipple (credited as 'the Old Master') 6: Eric Roberts 7: Derek Jacobi 8: John Simm 9: Michelle Gomez 10: Sacha Dhawan

Pleased that's coming out now. It was hoped it would seeing as they reprinted all the lead comic strips until present in similar volumes. Quite fancy this as Absolom Daak Dalek Killer was fantastic back in the day. |
