Looking that merchandise they're really trying to sell it for the Pride audience. Ofc Doctor Who has had gay fans and I've seen pink tardis before but those t shirts, I really really hate saying things have gone woke as it's almost bollocks made up by fear mongers, but it's does seem like RTD and the marketing department are trying to make the series and the doctor into gay icons.

Put it another way, anyone seen The Boys? Know how the company starts marketing one of the characters sexuality after she gets outed? Well it feels like this.

Or another spin like when they made the batman comics more humorous then dark.

I don't think it's just straight people either that get fed up. My friend hated that every episode has a reference to homosexuality shoehorned in. He described it as tokenism.

In memory of Ysanne Churchman (1925 - 2024)

Voice actress who provided the memorable talking voice of Alpha Centuri in the television stories 'The Curse of Peladon' and 'The Monster of Peladon'. She also provided voices for the titular creatures in 'Planet of the Spiders'

Although she retired from acting in 1999 at the age of seventy-four, she returned to the role of Alpha Centauri in 2017, at nearly the age of 92, for the story 'Empress of Mars', thus making her one of only a few guest actors who has played the same role in both Classic Who and Nu-Who
