I also really enjoyed The Rebel Flesh. It almost seemed like a throwback to the classic series, as the episode had time to breathe, introduce some characters, explain what was happening then build up suspense, with a few horror moments thrown in. I wasn't too keen on The Doctors Wife, for the opposite reasons. The opening twenty minutes felt rushed and i neither liked nor cared about the people on the asteroid. It did improve though, and ended with some well written scenes between the Doctor and his sexy TARDIS. |
