I love how they've enhanced this. Made it look like a full scale assault on the house rather than three Daleks and a few blokes in wigs.

Actually...I have a way. With no needed youth age make-up or cgi. Its something I have had in my head for awhile(ex-writer after all) And to quote the ninth doctor... It's Fantastic...

I actually think Paul Mcgann was fine as the 8th Doctor, being english and a good actor (Withnail & I). I just thought the Master was terrible and the companion not much better. Mcgann held the story together. Also seeing Sylvester McCoy was nice because it gave him a proper send off. Dont know what they were thinking about altering the daleks voices though.

There is no worst BoF.

Each has their own bits of brilliance, quirks, fantastic adventures, less interesting adventures, its the way it goes.

The majority of outsiders likely think Colin Baker the worst, but no matter how poor the script he always gave a fantastic performance.

As for Suzi not rating Paul McGann, that stuns me a bit. Yes he only had one televised story, which granted wasn't the best yet still had some fine moments to it, but his work as the Doctor for Big Finish is, frankly, f**king brilliant.

............

@ Nosferatu42. - Sorry gotta disagree, i loved Grace Holloway. She seemed like a very good non-screaming companion for a mature Doctor. Unlike the kids he seems to knock around with nowadays.

Hi Demdike,
Its really the Master i have a problem with, maybe if there was a series i would have warmed to her more. I haven't heard any of the audio stories. Also i dont think it helped that she sort of killed Sylvester's doctor.

I don't have a problem with Mr. McGann as an actor. The reason why I think he failed as The Doctor was for the simple fact that the character had become Americanised. As I said earlier, the TV Movie was (to my mind) too similar to an episode of 'The X-Files'

Where 'Doctor Who' had once been a leader, it had now become a follower!

I have mixed feelings about Mr. McCoy being in the movie. On one hand, I agree it was good to see him as the character again, and a proper regeneration scene, but on the other hand, I think the regeneration scene was a huge mistake

It's been stated that a casual viewer, who didn't know the history of the show, found it confusing when the person playing the Doctor suddenly disappeared, and someone totally different appeared as the character without any real explaination
