It would be great if they came back to face Capaldi sooner rather than later.

From what i understand though the first two episodes directed by Ben Wheatley is a two part Dalek story about the search for Gallifrey.

Groan! Not more Daleks! I love them as much as the next man but they are getting hideously over used even by Nu-Who standards.

Wasn't the creature in The Rings of Akhateen hinted at being an Osirian?

The Daleks have to appear in every series. Its part of the agreement with the Nation estate.

I love Daleks, so for me the more the merrier. A two part story with a bit of breathing space could be really good.

Of course this may not be true. Its just what i understand is on the horizon for the next series. The Daleks will be popping up a lot throughout the series as a wrap around linking story as the search for Gallifrey intensifies.

They weren't in the David Tennant 'specials', broadcast between 2008 - 2010

The stories were 'The Next Doctor', 'Planet Of The Dead', 'The Waters Of Mars' and 'The End Of Time', part 1 & 2

Just pre-ordered Corpse Marker and Sands of Time. Will get Scales of Injustice and Shakedown later. Will wait till the others arrive in the works for 3-forĀ£5 as the anniversery reprints did. The only one I have is Sting of the Zygons so might skip that one.

"The first photos of filming on the series of Doctor Who have appeared online this morning, confirming the return of Neve McIntosh as Madame Vastra, Catrin Stewart as Jenny and Dan Starkey as Strax.

Series 8 began filming this week and is expected to start airing on BBC One in August 2014."
