Only just noticed people have been talking about favourite and least favourite companions.
From the originals my least favourites are Mel, Peri and Tegan, all Tegan ever seemed to do was moan and whine.
My favourites are probably Romana 2, Sarah jane and Ace.
Also just remembered i quite like Nyssa too.
In terms of blokes, the Brigadier if he counts is the main man..
Turlough was interesting in that he was a bit of a sly one.
Never really understood peoples dislike of Adric, not a fave but i didn't think he was that bad.

Ace could be cringingly bad at times. Often her dialogue was woeful.

My favourite companions that i never originally watched on tv are definitely Barbara, Ian and Polly.

Victoria wasn't bad but i haven't seen enough of her stories to rate her properly.

Yeah, Mary god abducted every story she was in. She got abducted three times in the Android of Tara alone.
