Doctor Who will return for Season 9 in 2015, following a Christmas special in December 2014. Jenna Coleman: “They start filming [Season 9] in January.” Peter Capaldi: “…we’re starting to have conversations about next year and I’m like ‘There are some amazing things coming along there!’ – Steven is telling me and I’m like, ‘Wow! Yeah!’ We’ve got some great ideas coming for 2015.” Mark Gatiss: “…I do have a preference for historical stories. But I would love to do one set in the future. ” Steven Moffat: “[The return of River Song will] now be story-driven. If we’ve got an idea that she fits perfectly then there’s no reason why we can’t do it, but I quite liked where we got to at the end of ‘The Name of the Doctor’, with him saying goodbye to her. So we’ll see.” Neil Gaiman: “…I haven’t done an episode set on Earth yet, and I haven’t created a new monster. So there are boxes left to tick. And there’s part of me that feels… I haven’t scared anybody yet. I’d love to do something that sends adults behind the sofa too and makes them wee. Pools of wee.” Christmas 2014 special Written by Steven Moffat. Directed by Paul Wilmshurst. Air date: Thursday 25 December 2014*. Filming begins: Monday 8 September 2014. Main cast: Peter Capaldi as the Doctor and Jenna Coleman as Clara. Guest cast: Nick Frost as Santa Claus*, Dan Starkey as Strax*. Episode 12 2015 series Written by Steven Moffat. Steven Moffat: “I’ve figured out the cliffhanger to the penultimate episode of [Season 9]. And it’s a whopper. Ohh, I don’t think you’ll see this coming!”

These two complete my Doctor Who classic dvd range. I don't intend to get Shalka and Shada (Which i still have on vhs with the script book). But i suppose one day i'll have to buy The Aztecs again to get the episode of Galaxy Four that was added as an extra. |

Got them both! Nu-Who? Yep. The complete collection, from Rose to The Time Of The Doctor! Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a girly geek!!!!

Did you not bother with November's Enemy of the World or this years Web of Fear? |

Of course I have them, but I didn't think it was worth mentioning until the proper 'special editions' are released - with lots of extra features, commentaries and the true missing episodes instead of the animated ones!!!* But before you ask, no - I haven't got the 'Deep Breath' release. However, I do have the complete season 8 set on pre-order! *No - I do not have insider information. I am just hoping

Well I guess I'm also in the club as I have the very same things you have listed Suzi, as well as complete series of many other classics such as Blakes 7, Tripods, Saphire & Steel etc... only problem now is finding time to watch them all |

Enjoyed Time Heist, despite a really good creature the story wasn't especially gripping, enjoyable whilst on screen but i'm not sure about it's rewatch value. I was expecting the TARDIS to be in the private vault, and was hoping the architect was the Great Architect from Paradise Towers and he'd designed another building. Steve Thompson's best story to date but that wouldn't be hard seeing as his other two were the fun but lightweight Curse of the Black Spot and the truly awful Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS. |

God! Wasn't that the bloody awful one with Bertie Basset as the bad guy? Couldn't stand Sylvester McCoy to begin with but after that episode I stopped watching altogether!
