What a woman though. Those flipping eyes. Just one look and....

Kiss your ass goodbye. What a woman.

Now this was more like it! I poo-pooed the majority of the last series and wasn't even that impressed with Missy. But this opener was great! I even liked the guitar sequence. Learning the child's name at the beginning I didn't see coming. Just don't ruin it! No Frank Skinner.....please!

It had me hooked once the child said his name was Davros. Might be the fact that he's been my favourite villian since I first saw 'Genesis' back in the 70's. Then the guitar complete with tank in 12th century England just had me laughing. Even Missy was great! 'Oi Sweaty.....' and ' Dogs unmentionables'

I wonder what they'll make of the tank and electric guitar in 12th century England?

Mind you I still think the opening theme sounds like a cat being spayed without anesthetic!

At least it has the opening 'scream'. Throughout Smith's entire tenure you could barely hear it.

The scream dosen't bother me as much as the missing 'middle eight' does. For me that section always reminded me of the 'epic-ness' of the show! I love the theme from Tennents era but Smith onwards just dosen't sound right!

I agree totally. The Tennant music was superb. One of the best ever. In fact it rivals the classic Tom Baker theme in my opinion.
