I imagine this black and wbite animation would look fab on blu ray ( and maybe increase sales? ) or maybe they want it to match up with the rest of the classic series on dvd. I'm just delighted this is happening and hope it leads to other missing stories getting the same treatment.

If they've any sense they'll release a bluray disc next summer. Try and maximize sales.

As much as i like John Hurt, and his performance in Who, all that War Doctor stuff made a mess of things unfortunately.

Imagine the end of The Name of the Doctor had it been Eccleston who had turned round rather than Hurt.
