Finished power of the daleks yesterday another cracking Troughton story, i couldn't wait for all those silly apes to be exterminated as most of them were very unlikeable. Troughton was both Looney and brilliant as the doctor only small downside is the animation just couldn't catch his very expression filled face. Said more than once you gota to love the hat.

A bit of a shame because he could only work with what he was given and the BBC were determined to torpedo the show, he turned out to be a good doctor as his big finish story's prove.

Ha'ha, never!

Snakedance is rubbish in comparison to Kinda.

I did prefer it as a child though.

Paul Cornell, Martin Day, Keith Topping, David J. Howe and Stephen James Walker all rate it. I'm happy to be as 'stupid' as them when it comes to Doctor Who.

I'm sure at some point we'll discuss a story you actually like. There must be one, 53 years, surely there is one?

You kinda proved my point there.

Listening to the Big Finish Doctor Who audio The Reaping at the moment. Learning about the murder of a family friend - the father of her best friend - Peri forces the Doctor to take her back home to Baltimore, 1984. While Peri deals with "family stuff", the Doctor does a little digging and finds there's more to the murder than meets the eye. The Cybermen are in Baltimore - and whatever they're up to, Peri's loved ones are right in the middle of it.
This is pretty good so far. Col as great as ever, of course.

Watched the curse of Fenric this afternoon, not seen a lot of Mcoys story's and this was the first watch of this one in which Ace and the Doctor end up his in England near the end of WWII and soon get involved with Russian soliders , a crazy English officer, vampires and nemesis of the Doctors. Very atmospheric and well acted. We even have nicholas parsons as the local vicar who was a lot better than I expected. Will have to watch some more Mcoy stories.
