Although I'm sure SM will be able to come up with a story involving two Masters and Mondas Cybermen and make it shitter than The End of Time.

Only kidding! I have faith that this series will be a corker.
Fair enough D
But the thought of him leaping around like some third rate Riddler clone again imo fills me with dread. And not the nice kind either
Night!!

Tennant was given a truly awful exit from Dr Who with The End of Time. I've tried so many times to sit down and watch the two-parter, but alias, I've failed every time in the past.

Last year I took the move to sell the The End of Time on ebay. Though I left the only quality story from that box set, The Waters of Mars. Truly shocking to think that Tennant was given such shite stories towards the end of his tenure as 10th Doctor.

Don't even get me started on Planet of the Dead. Great title, and a trip to the sandy desert of Dubai, but what a complete and utter mess of a story, and a complete waste of a great location. Just imagine what sort of story could of been developed, considering Russell T. Davies delivered The Waters of Mars with that chap Phil Ford.

I don't think The Waters of Mars is anything special either. However it is better than Planet of the Dead and The End of Time.

To me the first two specials were specials without being anything special. Considering Davies season finales i'd have expected the specials to be spectacular - war with the Sontarans or something like that.

Sontarans or another alien threat, minus the Daleks would of been perfect.

What did you find wrong with The Waters of Mars Dem?. At least this year we may actually have a solid end for Doctor 12. This series coming up looks like it will be far more involving than the past series' we've had in a little while. I'm actually looking forward to this series with great excitement.

There's nothing wrong with it as such. It's just an episode to me though. Neither feels big or epic enough to be classed as a 'special'.

Planet of the Dead was a waste of time whilst the End of Time was epic with the return of the Time Lords but the story itself was really poor. The best part of it was saying goodbye to 10 and all his companions... yes it's that bad.

I'm really looking forward to this series. It all sounds very promising. I have an inkling there might be some appearances from villains/ monsters we don't know about yet.
