Blimey! So the Doctor will be facing TWO threats - the thing from the vault AND The Master!!

It's not looking good for him, is it?

Knock, Knock!

A good episode let down by a poor ending. Why couldn't they let the students die? Moffat uses the reset button far too much.

Pearl's acting was as wooden as the woman. Showed zero emotion as her flat mate was munched by beasties. Suchet excellent!

A good episode for 3/4 of the running time, but for me it all fell apart with the reveal about the relationship between 'the landlord' and 'the creature'

Until then, it had been a wonderfully creepy and thrilling story, then it became a bit 'meh'!

I have a theory.

Moffat's too sneaky to have the Master in the vault.

I reckon it's Riversong in a time locked vault that only the Doctor can enter. She can't leave it or she'd die. Hence why Nardole was resurrected. He was her companion.
