The Empty Child. Still an absolutely superb story, and still the best story of New Who. It frustrates me no end that the modern version of Who clearly has the potential to be like this, yet has chosen to spend so much of it's run being mediocre or just plain crap instead. |

When Jon Pertwee was announced as the new Doctor in 1969, a series of promotional photos were released to the press, showing Jon with a Yeti. Sadly, he never faced the Yeti on screen during his time as the Doctor, but these photos are still fantastic! Just imagine the missed comic potential when a Yeti first encounters Jo dressed in her furry coat!
