My opinions are mixed with HMV, as stated some of the titles were priced to perfection ....but Four Flies On Velvet!!!! I asked my brother to pick it up for me, he text and said are you sure, I said yes.....then he got back and I had to counbt out my pennies!!! Very expensive.

Just the same as in both the Newcastle and Gateshead HMV stores when i visited 'em today.

My only gripe regarding this Shameless/HMV double act is that none of The Beast In Space DVDs were factory sealed in both the Newcastle and Gateshead HMV stores today. I even ordered this title from both Amazon and Play recently with the relevant purchases arriving similarly minus shrinkwrapping. Hence, TBIS looked a little out of place with the rest of the sealed Shameless selection imo and it'd be reassuring to know if the company have a reason for this packaging omission.

Filing my first report. Just got back from Wolverhampton. Despite having no decicated Shameless display, I was pleasently surprised by the number of yellow cases in the horror section (not to be confused with the yellow cases in the non-horror section, such as The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and The Ex with Zach Braff).

Total Shameless count: 14, or 16 if you count the Fulci boxset as three seperate titles. What's more, it was also good to see a fair amount of titles going for £7 a pop - Flavia the Heretic, The Frightened Woman, Night Train Murders, Phantom of Death, Ratman, Strip Nude for your Killer, Venus in Furs AND Watch me When I Kill.

I remember seeing The Beyond dvd in the Metrocentre HMV which was sealed in plastic that was far too big for it and the reverse artwork as showing. They were clearly trying to resell a returned item

I worked there as a temp many years ago, and when I did, staff (esp on nightshift) would watch a movie. Then reseal it and put it back. When I worked at music zone wasn't uncommon for staff to borrow films over night.

Just out of interest, and in no way meant to incriminate yourself, when people 'borrowed films overnight', do you know if they would make copies for themselves?

Disgraceful action and i tend to be pretty suspicious of unsealed DVDs and BRs as i just can't help feeling perhaps the relevant title may have been tampered with in one way or another. It's because of this i didn't buy TBIS yesterday and i recall visiting Newcastle's HMV a good while back where there was a Shameless copy of The Black Cat sitting without shrinkwrapping on the shelf and sporting the reverse cover on the front. Obviously, somebody must've opened said item and switched the sleeves around at one point or another.

And now Walsall. As expected, there were fewer titles than Wolverhampton, but then the horror section is much smaller. But they still managed a respectable 10 titles, counting the Fulci and Slasher Nasties boxsets as 1. I can confirm that ALL titles were sealed, clearly the Walsall staff aren't trash horror fans...
