The results from the 2021 Crown Jewel PPV, held in Saudi Arabia

It seems strange having a PPV on a Thursday evening instead of the traditional Sunday evening!

SPOILER:
  • In the opening Tag Team match, The Usos [Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso] defeated Hurt Business [Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin] via pinfall
  • The 'Hell In A Cell' match, which many are considering as the best match that the WWE has ever held in Saudi, ended with Edge defeating Seth Rollins via pinfall
  • Local boy Mansoor defeated Mustafa Ali via pinfall
  • In the Raw Tag Team Championship match, RK-Bro [Randy Orton and Riddle] defeated AJ Styles & Omos via pinfall to retain the titles
  • Zelina Vega defeated Doudrop via pinfall to win the Queen's Crown tournament and become Queen Of The Ring
  • In a 'No Holds Barred, Falls Count Anywhere' match, Goldberg defeated Bobby Lashley via pinfall
  • Xavier Woods defeated Finn Balor via pinfall to become King of the Ring
  • In the WWE Championship match, Big E defeated Drew McIntyre via pinfall to retain the title
  • In a triple threat match for the SmackDown Women's Championship, Becky Lynch defeated both Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks to retain the title
  • In the WWE Universal Championship match, Roman Reigns (with Paul Heyman) defeated Brock Lesnar to retain the title

The next PPV is due to be 'Survivor Series' which is being held on November 21th at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn. At time of writing, no matches have been announced

Following HHH's recent health scare, it seems that HBK Shawn Michaels is currently in charge of running NXT

WCW Halloween Havoc 1998 - Hogan vs. The Warrior

Meltzer awarded the match a minimum score of minus five stars out of five, which was the lowest score EVER for a WCW contest. Readers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter agreed, and voted it the worst match of the year! Readers of professional wrestling magazine Power Slam cast the same vote, with editor Fin Martin called it 'one of the worst matches ever held'. Even 'Mean' Gene described the contest as a 'disaster'

Hogan felt the match was 'ruined' when he botched a spot that he himself had devised - the infamous 'flash paper' incident, in which he was supposed to 'burn' the Warrior with flash paper but instead he lit the paper in his own face, legitimately burning his mustache and eyebrows. This led to an improvised ending in which Hogan’s nephew, Horace, hit Warrior with what Sports Illustrated writer Luke Winkie called 'the most unsatisfying chair shot in history'

The match that was too see Hogan get his dignity back from Wrestlemania VI. the match was way too comical both wrestlers were out of sync and way too many botches.
