Kurt Angle winning the 1996 Olympic gold medal in the 100kg Freestyle wrestling event in Atlanta, Georgia, with a broken freaking neck!

It's true...it's damn true!!!

It''s rather amusing hearing his 'you suck' music playing when he is announced as the winner

The results from the 2022 Summerslam Pay Per View:

SPOILER:
  • In the opening Singles match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship, Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch via pinfall to retain the title. At the end of the match, Bayley, who has been sidelined for more than a year, returned. As she made her way to the ring, she was joined by Dakota Kai, who had been released from WWE in April. Then Io Shirai, who has been out with an injury since April, came out and joined them. The three women entered the ring to confront Bianca, only for Becky to jump in the ring and stand side-by-side with the champion, leading to Bayley and her group backing down.
  • In a standard singles match, Logan Paul defeated The Miz [with Maryse and Ciampa] via pinfall
  • In a singles match for the WWE United States Championship, Bobby Lashley defeated Theory via pinfall to retain the title
  • In a no disqualification tag team match, Rey and Dominik Mysterio defeated The Judgement Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) [with Rhea Ripley] via pinfall. During the match, Edge, who hasn't been seen in the WWE since early June, made his return and helped the Mysterios score the win. There were also concerns that the ring ropes seemed extremely loose during this match
  • In a standard singles match, Pat McAfee defeated Happy Corbin via pinfall
  • In a tag team match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, The Usos (Jey and Jimmy) defeated The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) via pinfall to retain the championships. The special guest referee for this match was WWE Hall Of Famer 'Double J' Jeff Jarrett
  • In a previously un-anounced brawl, Seth Rollins beat Riddle
  • In the penultimate singles match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship, Liv Morgan defeated Ronda Rousey via pinfall to retain the championship
  • In the Last Man Standing match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Roman Reigns [with Paul Heyman] defeated Brock Lesnar to retain the undisputed championship. During the match, Theory unsuccessfully tried to cash in his Money in the Bank contract

The final Last Man Standing match was rated as being the best one of the event

The next WWE PPV is the long awaited return to the UK with the 'Clash At The Castle' event being held in Cardiff on September 3rd during the (no doubt) wettest and windiest period that the UK has faced since records began!

Rumours are going around that Sasha Banks and Naomi may be returning to WWE under Triple H's regime.

Someone from backstage had stated that:

"Sasha and Naomi have made a deal to return and we will know in a few hours, But I will say I think it is true but not 100% just yet"

Dave Meltzer has said

"Regarding the Sasha Banks and Naomi rumours of them returning, I don't know that it is signed yet but it is moving in that direction and internally they do expect it to happen"
