I'm surprised no one has mentioned The IT Crowd or The Big Bang Theory. Both are rather cynical and very much in line with the style of junkie alot of people seem to like here. The only other modern comedies that actualy grab me are The Inbetweeners and Outnumbered.
It's a shame Vicar of Dibly couldn't have gone on for a bit longer.

Cool

I've been recording NOEL FIELDING'S LUXURY COMEDY, so I sat down last night and watched em so far, hmmm... boring old fart alert, while being visually stunning almost to the point of hallucinogenic, the comedy is... well, non existent now I know I'm not the target audience but I just don't see anything but the odd surreal chuckle. Expected much much better. Anybody else have an opinion?

I don't find Noel Fielding funny at all, he's a complete waste of space

Default News Radio Anyone??

Hi All, I have had a little look in this forum and haven't seen any mention of Newsradio so if someone has allready said it im sorry, if not here is what i think is one of the best comedy shows in the 90's. It star's Stephen Root, Dave Foley and Phill Hartman. I have included a photo of my loved and over watched boxset.

I highly recommend this if your a fan of comedy.

I also really like:

The League of Gentlemen
Alan Partridge
Black Adder 2-4
That 70's Show
Big Bang Theory
Kid's in the Hall
Death Comes to Town (Kids in the Hall)
South Park
Ren and Stimpy Unleashed
The Tick
The Comic Strip box set

many more but these i watch a lot.

I used to enjoy those U.K. Gold 'Saturday Stacks' with various episodes of the same comedy series shown all day long at the weekend.
Not too sure if there was ever an OFAH selection screened but the above channel did us Steptoe And Son and Porridge fans proud on more than one Saturday!
