Twilight zone being rebooted https://www.ihorror.com/could-jordan...t-zone-reboot/ First couple of paragraphs The Twilight Zone It seems that life for Jordan Peele has not slowed down since his dive into film directing, especially his newfound forte in the horror genre. With his break-out hit Get Out, Peele revealed to the world that not only did he know how to make quality horror, but horror grounded in reality. Peele brought us real monsters we can find on Facebook, in high-end coffee shops, country clubs, or–for some of us–right next door. Turning merciless social commentary into horror films, Peele is plying his future in the horror industry. Initially, the social-horror visionary was eyed to direct the Neo-Tokyo cyberpunk classic Akira, but he moved away from that project to direct an adaptation of Lovecraft Country: a TV series based around 22-year-old Atticus Black traveling cross-country to find his father amidst both racist and supernatural terrors. Along with Lovecraft Country, Peele revealed his newest horror title Us earlier this year, starring Lupita Nyong’o and Elisabeth Moss. |

John carpenters Prince of darkness maybe a TV series https://screenrant.com/prince-darkne...ohn-carpenter/ First couple of paragraphs John Carpenter is strongly hinting he’s about to turn his cult 1987 horror film Prince Of Darkness into a TV show. Following the box-office disappointment of Big Trouble In Little China, Carpenter decided to take a break from studio projects and return to smaller films. Prince Of Darkness was first of these low-budget projects and involves a group of academics gathering in an abandoned church to investigate whether a mysterious canister of liquid really contains the son of the Devil - spoiler alert, it does. Prince Of Darkness is a slow burn that builds an atmosphere of dread and creeping tension before things literally go to hell in the final act. The movie has built a loyal cult following over the years and is best remembered for an eerie dream sequence where a demonic figure is seen emerging from the church and Alice Cooper’s cameo as a murderous homeless person. In addition to writing and directing, Carpenter also composed the movie’s haunting soundtrack. Carpenter recently returned to the Halloween franchise to serve as executive producer and composer on the new sequel, and it appears he might be returning to another of his old properties. In a recent interview with Consequence Of Sound, the director revealed he’s talking to horror streaming service Shudder about composing a theme for one of their projects, and then hinted, “And maybe doing a show for them. What would you think about Prince of Darkness as a TV show?” |

And Damon Wayans has said he’s quitting Lethal Weapon to spend more time with his family.... After being an unsufferable prick and getting the real star of the show (Clayne Crawford) fired, along with over 70 crew members who supported Clayne. You honestly couldn’t make this shit up.

Seems Crawford was dead-on about Wayans not wanting to be there the whole time.
