 Love/Hate
RTE crime series beginning in 2010. Aiden Gillen (The Wire, Game Of Thrones), Ruth Negga ( Preacher), Robert Sheenan (Misfits) star in a rather brutal gangland drama. Irish Underbelly? That's not quite there  but as Series 3 has literally got off to an explosive start I thought this would save me clogging up the TV thread .... 2 more series that I know of as well

Well I finished Series 5. A wild if somewhat uneven ride then .... We begin with a death. The first of many ... 'John Boy' Power (Aiden Gillen) and his crew run ( amok  ) en route to tightening their grip on Dublins drug trade. All while tussling with their rivals, the garda and The 'RA Nowt new here tbh, some Wiresque touches later on etc ... twas more about the accents more than anything else Twas a set of Irish dvds I was loaned. Must look into my own ones methinks
