So, Lynch is now back on board and it will be longer than previously announced. Looks like Showtime agreed to the budget, but are squeezing more out of it.

Delighted he's back, still think it might be a bumpy road.

Bought the TWIN PEAKS Blu Ray boxset last week to see if it's as ****ed-up as Lynch's other work.

Only at episode 3-but glad to see it's relatively normal in comparison!

That pilot episode was awesome!
I've never, ever seen a town or scenery that was so foreboding in a TV programme in all my life!

Never ever watched this when it was first aired back in the day.

It's a truly great show.

It starts to falter a little towards the middle of the second season but aside from that it's as near to perfection as you can get where TV shows go in my opinion. Hopefully you'll enjoy the rest.

The Pacific Northwest of the U.S. looks pretty much like it is in real life as depicted in the show, tho cities like Seattle and Olympia are typically urban, Washington state is pretty much full of evergreen trees,

This. . But that last episode of season 2 directed by Lynch is well worth sticking around for. It was a real return to form, too bad the writing was on the wall by then. Still roll on next year.

I enjoyed the second half of season two more than most people. The only storyline that had me rolling my eyes and losing concentration was the adventures of James. James and his vacant stare and ridiculous haircut. Then again I always hated James, I still hate James. I always wanted him to thunder into an articulated lorry on his daft bike, or just explode or something.

I'm so anti-James as well, but that one scene with Maddie and Donna in the living room where they are all just sitting with a guitar and microphones singing that song you've got to admit that's genius hah.
